Irving, Texas

GM DJ Sparky 2013 was questioned earlier in the season when he sent Pro Bowl QB Tony Romo to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for rookie QB Colt McCoy. When asked why the trade was made, DJ Sparky 2013 had this to say; "While we were thankful for the past play of Tony Romo, we decided to go with more of a youthful "feel" for this team."

Well, that move may have paid offm, as McCoy threw his first two TDs as a Cowboy, in a 35-27 win over the visiting Titans, thus ending a 2 game skid for the Cowboys.

McCoy's first TD of the game, at the 6:41 mark of the second quarter, when he hit WR Miles Austin on a streak down the sidelines for a 66 yd score. McCoy had this to say about the scoring strike; "It felt great to get my first TD pass with the Cowboys and as soon as I saw Austin jump for the ball, I knew it was a score."

The majority of Dallas's points came in the second quarter, as Miles Austin also had a 6 yd TD pass as time expired. 2nd year RB Felix Jones added a 76 yd TD run and rookie WR Dez Bryant also scored on a 90 yd punt return TD.

The only downside to the game, was that even though Dallas pulled out the win, on a last second 4th and goal attempt by the Titans, the Titans ran roughshot over Dallas's defense the majority of the game ending up with a time of possession differential of 21:09-6:51, in favor of the Titans.

Newly acquired WR Randy Moss had 4 receptions for 94 yds and 2 TD scores of 23 and 31 yds, respectively. RB Frank Gore also ran for 139 yds of 16 attempts and added a 10 yd TD to the Titans' scoreboard.

Also, going into the game, CB Terence Newman was in a 3-way tied for the lead in interceptions, with a total of 5. Newman's consectitive games streak with at least 1 INT was ended. Newman was quoted as saying, "We knew they were going to throw towards Moss, but no matter what we did, we couldn't stop him."

Next up for the Cowboys, are the Minnesota Vikings.
