Coach Raheem Morris is extremely disappointed in his teams efforts after last weeks 16-7 defeat by the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers. This is the second straight game in which the offense sputtered its wheels for majority of the game. Josh Freeman has failed to come through as he has really struggled. Mainly though, its been the lack of running game and being behind to start the game that has really hindered their attack. Coach Morris addressed the team after last Sunday's defeat, him and GM jricciotti1230 vowed there would be changes after this game. Change there was. Three days later, Tampa Bay packaged a blockbuster deal. They sent inconsistent RB LeGarrette Blount, standout tight end Kellen Winslow, and young cornerback Kyle Wilson to St. Louis in return for RB Steven Jackson, TE Daniel Fells, and WR Danny Amendola.

Josh Freeman said, "It's real disappointing to see a guy like Kellen Winslow leave, he was the heart and soul of this team." Aqib Talib was extremely frustrated with the departure of cornerback Kyle Wilson saying, "Him and I could have been the most dynamic duo ever." Santonio Holmes is extremely excited about the new arrivals. "Anytime you add a pro bowl caliber running back like a Steven Jackson, it's going to make your team better. Gronkowski is getting better at tight end, Fells will be a good number two tight end, and now Josh has so many targets to throw the ball to...I mean, he's got me, Edelman, Gronkowski, Fells, Amendola, Stroughter, and both Jackson and Slaton are real good at catching. Expect a high flying attack from Tampa."
