Week 4 Power Rankings Empty Week 4 Power Rankings

Post  DaHibachi Thu Nov 18, 2010 10:12 pm

This is the first look at our MNFL power rankings. We still have four teams in the league who remain undefeated. Two teams, the Patriots and the Titans fell from the ranks of the undefeated in week 4. Who will fall in week 5? There are also nine 2-2 teams heading into week 5. Which teams will look to get on a winning track?

1. Miami Dolphins ::Kurt Deisel::(4-0)- The Dolphins boast the 2nd best defense in the league allowing just 12 points per game through four and held the league's best offense to just 21 points in an impressive victory against the Patriots.

2. Houston Texans ::blue collar kid:: (4-0)- Andre Johnson is making an early case to be the league's Offensive Player of the Year. He already has 793 yards and 10 TDs in just four games.

3. Carolina Panthers ::Prodigy573::(4-0)- The Panthers have changed from a power running team to an explosive pass offense lead by rookie, Jimmy Clausen, who has 20 TD passes through 4 games.

4. New England Patriots ::pushingmyluck:: (3-1)- After posting marks of 56, 49, and 58 in three blowout wins, the Patriots were only able to manage 21 points in a loss to the Dolphins. They will use this bye week to get back on track.

5. San Francisco 49ers ::KeptPlay 2 win:: (4-0)- The 49ers have cruised to victory in all but one game led by the speed back, Chris Johnson, who is averaging near 10 yards per carry.

6. Seattle Seahawks ::GonzoArmstrong:: (3-1)- After a tough opening season loss to the 49ers, the Seahawks have reeled off three impressive victories heading into their bye week.

7. Green Bay Packers ::UrgedZatoichi:: (3-1)- The Packers have lived on the edge this season with three of the decisions (two wins and one loss) ending with a margin of victory of 3 points or less.

8. Tennessee Titans ::ROG DOUBLE WHAT:: (3-1)- QB Vince Young tossed 5 picks in a ugly 42-27 week 4 loss to the Broncos. They will look to bounce back against the Cowboys.

9.Minnesota Vikings ::I IZ JEZUS CAT:: (2-1)- The Vikings will come off their bye week to face the 2-2 New York Jets.

10. Kansas City Chiefs ::Just Rep 641:: (2-1)- The Chiefs headed into the bye week coming off a heart breaking, last second loss to the 49ers. They look to face the dangerous Colts offense in week 5.

11. Baltimore Ravens ::ama47jazz:: (2-1-1)- The Ravens followed two impressive shutout victories against the Bengals and Browns with a 14-14 tie against the Steelers in week 4.

12. New York Giants ::snak8eyes:: (2-2)- At 2-2, the Giants lead the NFC East heading into week 5. They will look to build separation when they meet the Texans.

13. Denver Broncos ::FreshFlyFitted:: (2-2)- The first four games for the Broncos have been a tale of two teams. After a rough 0-2 start, they've bounced back with impressive victories against the Colts and Titans.

14. Pittsburgh Steelers ::XxFROSTYKINGxX:: (2-1-1)- The Steelers head into their bye week tied with the Ravens atop the AFC North... they also tied the Ravens in their matchup in week 4.

15. San Diego Chargers ::DaHibachi:: (2-2)- The Chargers will take the second highest scoring offense in the AFC to Oakland in a key divisional matchup. Unfortunately they are also bringing the third worst scoring defense.

16. New York Jets ::Tangerine12:: (2-2)- The Jets are averaging a meager 3.3 yards per carry on the ground through four games. That will need to improve if they are to continue to win football games.

17. Oakland Raiders:: Dr AquaFr3sh4:: (2-2)- Oakland will meet the Chargers in a key divisional matchup in week 5. The question heading into this matchup is if either defense will bother to show up.

18. Jacksonville Jaguars ::Vx Agent Ops xV:: (2-2)- The Jags high scoring offense was halted in week 4 by the winless Colts. They face another winless team in week 5, the Buffalo Bills.

19. Chicago Bears ::CPU:: (2-2)- The Tim Tebow era has begun with the Chicago Bears as they benched Jay Cutler for their week 4 game. Unfortunately, Tebow came up short against the Giants.

20. Detroit Lions ::emmittzone99:: (2-2)- The Lions began the season with two impressive victories but have since been brought back to earth with two rough losses.

21. Dallas Cowboys ::DJ SPARKY 2013:: (1-2)- The Cowboys lost the last two games in heart-breaking fashion- an overtime loss to the Bears and a 40 yard game winning FG as time expired to the Texans.

22. Arizona Cardinals :: x Zeg x :: (2-2)- The Cardinals offense was anemic in week 4 against the Chargers. They will need to heavily rely on their defense and RB Beanie Wells as long as they feature Matt Leinart at QB.

23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers ::jricciotti1230:: (1-2)- Steven Jackson will be a welcome addition to a backfield that has failed to produce to this point as they come off their bye week.

24. Philadelphia Eagles ::MrRocio:: (1-3)- The Eagles' defense has allowed a staggering 48 points per game defensively. They are still within a game of the NFC East lead, however so they have time to rectify the problem.

25. New Orleans Saints ::CityOfWind1983:: (1-3)- Where did the running game go against the Panthers? After posting 144 against the Falcons in the week 3 victory, the Saints only produced 10 yards in week 4.

26. Indianapolis Colts ::Vicgtor Baron:: (1-3)- It has been a rough start for the Colts. They will look to build off of their week 4 win against Jacksonville.

27. Washington Redskins ::CPU:: (1-3)- The Redskins will have new management after their week 4 loss to the Eagles.

28. Cincinnati Bengals ::CPU:: (1-3)- The Bengals were the team that finally got into the winning column in week 4 against the Browns. Still, Carson Palmer is committing too many turnovers as he already has 12 INTs and it is costing them big time.

29. St. Louis Rams ::jay dizz209:: (0-4)- The Rams are in compete rebuild mode after dealing Steven Jackson while receiving Leggarette Blount. They have been competitive in three of their four losses.

30. Atlanta Falcons ::TheBEDLION:: (0-4)- This has been a truly disappointing season for the Falcons. Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez have combined for just 10 catches this season and Michael Turner is averaging a measly 3.1 YPC average.

31. Buffalo Bills ::JNB3440:: (0-4)- Other then the game against the Patriots, the Buffalo Bills have been competitive thus far. They should run the football more to keep the ball out of Ryan Fitzpatrick's hands.

32. Cleveland Browns ::h0cUs PoCuS:: (0-4)- The Browns blew a 28-0 lead to the Bengals, who rallied to win on a FG with 23 seconds left. Still, Tony Romo has breathed new life into a team that was shutout in its first three games.

Note: Rankings do not take into account some of the games that were played in week 5. Next rankings will be after week 6 games.
